The Opportunity

Under close supervision, and in accordance with established policies, procedures and care plans, performs a variety of routine client care support activities to optimize the functional abilities of residents. Duties may include assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), instructing craft classes, assisting with social events, group exercises and games. Responsible for other related duties as required.

• Shift: Days/Evenings
• Union: Non Union GSS
• Rate of Pay: $ 17.07 - $ 21.54
• Bi-weekly Hours: 77.50
• FTE: 1.00
• Shift Times: 0800-1615/1130-1945

Qualifications & Experience:

• PCA, Certificate in leisure activities or equivalent. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience
• Related experience in a hospital or continuing care facility is preferred; Geriatric experience is an asset; Program specific training/experience is an asset
• Graduation from Grade 12
