Construction Analyst Iv Jobs

The Construction Analyst IV (Specialist of Construction and Project Management) will provide project support transitioning asset and location data into Maximo. This role also includes an understanding or Oracle procurement processes regarding Oracle fixed assets.
Accountabilities:
Support projects with input of location and asset data, work orders and service requests in Maximo
Respond to Projects queries as they relate to Maximo and Oracle.
Promote the Enterprise Asset Management Standard and tools available within Oracle and Maximo to deliver BU requested project data
Develop training material as required to support technical governance documents and management of change.
Represent Projects in the continuous improvement of tools and integration of project bulk load data to Maximo.
Identify Maximo system enhancements on behalf of Projects to either reduce effort or benefit overall project execution.
Enhance wellness and safety culture through completion of required safety training and participation in safety and wellness initiatives.
Project Maximo SME for the collection and input of project location and asset data, including work order creation and service requests assisting all projects achieve data entry timeline and accuracy required by the BUs to achieve Oracle Fixed Assets financial reporting and preventative maintenance goals.
Functional expert in construction information management workflows and processes.
This position will require significant independent judgement/discretion regarding all technical work within the individual's expertise.
Work with all components of the Project organization to understand and simplify processes that include information management.
Internal communication will occur with: Peers and Managers across the organization. Must be able to influence direction through strong technical skills and quality of expertise. As the contacts for this role are spread throughout the Enterprise in different organizational structures. Examples of groups routinely interacted with are: Major Projects, Core Programs, PMO/PTMO, GTM/LP/GDS/Power/NET engineering information management teams, Asset/Work Management, SCM and Finance.
External communications will occur with:
Potential contact with 3rd party suppliers, engineering service providers and construction contractors for the purposes of supporting Construction Management.
Required:
Engineering degree or Engineering Technology Diploma with equivalent experience, in an applicable discipline
5-10 years demonstrated ability in data management using IBM Maximo Asset Management software and awareness of Oracle procurement integration.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings such and single line diagrams and P&IDs
Management of change experience including the ability to communicate effectively to effectively interact with peers and internal stakeholders.
Proven capability to influence, prioritize and effectively manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines while managing stakeholder expectations
Understand the importance and complexity of technology solutions throughout the project lifecycle including cloud platforms and mobile data tools.
Demonstrate business acumen and ability to contribute to strategic planning, thinking, and to lead and manage change.
Ability to develop and facilitate detailed training programs
Ability to analyze complex technical issues and recommend solutions sometimes with limited supporting data.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form. This includes the ability to effectively interact with peers, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders in both formal and informal settings.
Preferred:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent an asset Approximately 90% Office Environment-vs-150 % in a field, home office or operating facility and at outside operations in all types of weather.
Air travel within Canada and US, occasional local travel driving rental vehicle (10%)
The Contractor is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather); fumes or airborne particles; risk of electrical shock and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment may be above 90 dBA
