Job Requirements
The Position will have the following requirements:

• A current, unrestricted license to practice Physical Therapy in any one of the fifty States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands.
• A Masters, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from a Physical Therapy program acceptable to the USAF Surgeon General and accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
• Have at least 24 months of experience within the past 36 months as a physical therapist.
• BLS

Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

• Administer treatment programs involving application of physical agents as deemed appropriate by the therapist.
• Provide clinical supervision to assistants, technicians, aides, and students
• Participate in peer review activities.
• Test and measure the patient’s strength, motor development, sensory perception, functional capacity, and/or respiratory and circulatory efficiency. Record findings to develop or revise treatment programs.
• Provide input and attend rehabilitation team meetings, seminars, and quality assurance meetings.
• Provide appropriate therapeutic procedures and provide a full range of therapy services in support of patient referrals.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommends modification as required.
• Provide documented treatment and discharge recommendations to members of the staff in routine, emergency, and special cases as needed.
• Instruct patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.
• All patient contact and care shall be safe, timely, and result in achievement of realistic and documented treatment goals.
