Technical Sales Representative - Leamington

We are an expanding company supplying the horticultural industry in Canada, looking for additional individuals to fill a position on our technical sales team in Leamington. Our client base includes greenhouse vegetables, greenhouse flowers, nurseries, and golf courses. Products and services sold by the company include integrated pest management products, plant nutrition, innovative consumables, and seed.

What you’ll do

• Manage customer relationships in Essex, Kent, and Lambton counties
• Provide technical support for greenhouse plant nutrition and crop protection strategies
• Develop and execute marketing initiatives
• Implement product demos and trials
• Evaluate new technologies in cooperation with customers
• Present technical information at grower meetings and webinars
• Answer questions concerning products such as price and credit terms
• Achieve sales growth annually

Who you are

• Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
• Strong communicator who thrives in collaborative environments
• Understanding of nutrition, pests, diseases, and greenhouse best practices

What you’ve done

• Background in greenhouse industry or previous agricultural experience
• Post-secondary education in related field
