Technical Project Manager (Construction)

Intermediate and Junior Project Managers (Multiple required)

We are seeking a talented and driven Project Manager with a strong background in construction project management to join our fast-growing engineering consultancy. This role will oversee a portfolio of small to medium sized projects across various urban environments. The successful candidate will have prior experience managing civic construction projects, utilities, public works, and community buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foster a collaborative environment and lead by example to drive project success.
• Manage the preparation and submission of RFP tenders and vendor qualifications.
• Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, including subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
• Conduct regular site visits to urban projects across the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.
• Coordinate project documentation, meetings, and communication to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.
• Collaborate with a Senior Project Manager to effectively manage and deliver a range of construction projects on time and within budget.
• Oversee pre-construction and mid-construction phases of projects, ensuring compliance with all regulations, best practices, and client requirements.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in an engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience in overseeing small to medium size projects, from initiation to completion.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of civic construction, utilities, public works, and community buildings.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel across the Lower Mainland for site visits.
• Proficiency in relevant project management software.
