We are growing our business and transforming our operations, and as such, are currently seeking candidates for the position of Team Leader Operations to join ourteam in Saint John. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who wants to lead, succeed and contribute to our organization. The successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail.
The Key Focus of the role is to lead and motivate a small team while coordinating all marine operations, and administrative functions associated with individual vessel calls to assigned Port of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:

• Procure operation, agency, and administrative services for assigned marine vessels
• Assist with billing procedures , follow -up, and completion of requests
• Drive a safety-first culture.
• Coach, train, develop and lead staff.
• Key player in delivering short term and long-term operational strategies to accelerate business growth.
• Exercise high quality vendor service management and cost control
• Foster an environment of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• University Degree or equivalency.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, which includes evenings, weekends and other as required.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
• 2-3 years of relevant leadership experience
• Previous experience in the marine agency field would be considered an asset
