In detail


The Change and Solutions (C&S) team, which is a regional team, actively supports and drive strategic transformation across CIB activities and functions in various capacities including high-level governance oversight, advisory to project or program managers, hands on project management for transversal strategic projects or for process efficiency missions.


Change Solutions team encompasses 4 capabilities:


  • Consulting, covering strategic plans and business initiatives
  • Transformation, focusing on operational excellence and innovation
  • Regulatory excellence, covering full value chain of regulatory excellence
  • And Analytics (development of AI solutions)

The candidate will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change leveraging on consulting practices and LEAN methodologies to deliver business transformation and operational excellence.


The candidate will report locally to the Canada Head of Change & Solutions, and functionally to the Head of C&S Transformation Americas.


Responsibilities


  • In charge of expanding the coverage of Canada Innovation capability through deliverables and events (challenges, lunch & learn..) to develop an innovative mindset across the organization.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • In charge of coaching the team and other team leaders that are involved in Transformations
  • In charge of shaping and driving the LEAN transformations (Organizational / operational improvement on a specific dimension, e.g. Voice of the Customer, Process Efficiency, Performance Management, organization and skills.) as well as continuous improvement initiatives
  • The candidate will be :
  • In charge of developing/supporting a continuous improvement strategy with the involvement of LEAN Champions per domain of activity in Canada.
  • As a team leader, will meet with internal clients to understand their needs and challenges, scope projects, assign the right resources and secure the project throughout its lifecycle (define clearly the objectives, planning, tools and resources to achieve the required impact).
  • In charge of developing and managing the relationship with the broader C&S Transformation Americas organization
  • In charge of maintaining and improving the LEAN methodology as well as our transformation framework in coordination with the region
  • In charge of Process Efficiency projects, Target Operating Models, Execution Enablement for Canada and for region as well depending on the needs and projects to support our clients
  • In charge of monitoring impacts and savings of Change & Solutions project pipeline (Savings, HC impact, nb of projects, …) to report the main indicators to Sr. Management
  • The candidate will be responsible for training team members, setting objectives and monitoring progress towards goals. The candidate will evaluate the performance of each team member on a regular basis and during the yearly appraisal
  • The position requires staff management. The candidate will take the lead of the Transformation team in Montreal (Canada)


The Strengths And Skills That Will Help You Succeed


  • Go beyond existing frameworks by suggesting new ideas which are suitable for clients and/or the organization
  • Has a significant experience in Project Management and resources management. Is already recognized as a leader. 10+ experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyze complex situations in a timely and effective manner
  • Knowledge of the English is required
  • Demonstrable experience in leading successful projects with Lean / Six Sigma and / or other process re-engineering methodologies
  • Interpersonal skills to successfully collaborate with various teams of professionals and liaise with internal and external groups/ individuals, locally, regionally and globally. Ability to communicate clearly project objectives and requirements (Strong written, presentation and verbal communication)
  • Recognized ability to lead, manage and engage cross-department teams, drive change within an organization
  • Agile, dynamic, with a problem-solving and analytical mindset
  • Critical thinking while considering impact on overall business.
