Reports to: Learning Tech Service Delivery and Release Lead

Job Responsibilities


Learning Systems Product Ownership


  • Supervise the configuration of our global learning systems ensuring that they are successfully implemented, maintained, and integrated with our learning systems ecosystem, as well as, ensure a seamless user experience for learning and administrators
  • Work directly with the business to capture an understanding of their learning system requirements and assists in the configuration and implementation of the platform
  • Act as the system product owner for AZ global learning systems that are both being implemented and/or are already live (i.e. Degree, Xyleme, Realizeit, Cornerstone SBX)


Learning System Integration


  • Partner with global IT to coordinate the integration of learning systems and technologies (i.e. content authoring tools) to facilitate smooth data flow, interoperability, and integration with existing learning ecosystem platforms, HR, and talent management systems.


Requirements Gathering And Analytics


  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for learning systems
  • Ensure that the learning systems meet the needs of diverse user groups, including learners, instructors, administrators, and managers.
  • Translate these requirements into functional specification system design, and implementation plans


User Acceptance Testing


  • Own the test strategy and plan for product enhancement releases. Guide test scope/strategy for new solution implementations.


Vendor Management


  • Manage relationships with learning system vendors, including vendor selection, and ongoing vendor performance evaluation
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure successful implementation, customization, and support of learning technologies.


Data Analytics and Reporting


  • Leverage learning system analytics and reporting capabilities to gather insights, measure learning effectiveness, and provide actionable recommendations for continuous development.


Essential Qualifications


  • Familiarity with learning standards, and protocols such as SCORM, xAPI, etc.
  • 5 years + experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and leading system implementation projects
  • Experience working within matrix project teams, including virtual working with teams across multiple regions
  • Strong networking, communication, and relationship-building skills, with experience in collaborating and sharing knowledge between diverse teams
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex information in business language
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong detail orientation


Desirable Qualifications


  • Experience with popular LMS and LCMS systems
