Your Opportunity:


The Supply Coordinator role in the Maz is a vital and dynamic position that supports the management and supply of specialty equipment and supplies as well as Stores items to all of Cardiac Sciences with a focus on the Cardiac Cath Lab & EP Lab. The successful candidate will have a high attention to detail and focus on customer service as they work with other supply coordinators, CPSM, vendors, physicians, nurses and managers to facilitate all aspects of these highly specialized and high-volume supply areas. The supply coordinator will respond to urgent requests for direct buy specialty products and initiates process to purchase or obtain specialty products from other areas as well as research specialty products and equipment and recommends purchases based on pricing and information about functional requirements. They will identify cost savings, items on back order, product alert and recall and communicates to end users and recommends strategies to address deficiencies. They will coordinate the putting away, labelling, distribution and documentation of equipment and supplies (including stores items) as well as participate in annual inventory and monthly cycle counts, reports and audit activities including participating in meetings to report the same.


Description:


As a Supply Coordinator, you will be required to perform numerous duties related to customer service and supply distribution functions. In this role you will initiate orders, track medical surgical supplies and equipment, track transactions, monitor inventory levels, manage repairs and loaner devices, and insure that supplies are available for optimum patient care. You will also be responsible for inventory counts, record keeping, and documentation.

Required Qualifications:


Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent. Experience in health care procurement and shipping/receiving processes.


Additional Required Qualifications:


Moderate computer skills with working knowledge of Connect Care, Paceart, iProcurement, MS Office Suite & Logi_D systems. Ability to do frequent heavy manual work related to moving and unpacking boxes, lifting, twisting, prolonged sitting and standing.


Preferred Qualifications:


A minimum of two years' experience in Cardiac Science supply chain management or greater than five years in outside Supply Coordinator or Stores I/II role.
