Supply Chain Manager


Onsite (in-office)


Our client is looking for an experienced Supply Chain Leader with exceptional skills in Supply and Demand Planning, S&OP, and Production Scheduling knowledge. Ideally you have multi-site experience within a Consumer Goods, Food & Beverage Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical or related FMCG (Fast moving consumer goods) environment.

The Opportunity:


Lead end-to-end supply chain processes and function including managaging and developing a team. Supply / Demand planning , inventory and resource management, and information planning and strategic processes. Achieve optimal fill rates, customer service targets and operational efficiencies around production and product delivery. Quarterback all coordination between procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Resolves bottlenecks or problem areas in the supply chain. Monitors suppliers and service providers for quality and performance.



Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Coach, lead, and mentor a team communicating clear expectations
  • Support logistics processes for the development of new products, inventory maintenance, manufacturing, shipment, delivery, and returns on products
  • Lead and improve all strategy and execution of the end-to-end supply chain function including planning.
  • Build, Evaluate and Report on KPIs surrounding Planning, Scheduling, Forecasting, and Fulfillment.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities to streamline processes and improve accuracy and efficiency within operations
  • Develop, implement, and sustain a production planning system to ensure on-time, maximized fill rate deliveries
  • Responsible for supporting safe, respectful, and productive work environment
  • Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the Supply Chain
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders regarding price trends, quality, supply, material, and service
  • Manage current and long-term forecast projections to drive production and inventory planning goals
  • Build relationships and develop effective processes with external parties, such as suppliers, distributors, and transportation & logistics vendors
  • Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics planning
  • Ability to train, mentor, and lead employees, both individually and as a team




Ideal Qualifications and Competencies:


  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or related.
  • Leadership and people development / management experience
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience required
  • 7 - 10 + years experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Forecasting, Logistics / Inventory Management
  • Strong communication skills: ability to communicate information clearly
  • Attention to detail, fast learner, and quick thinker
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Manufacturing experience is an asset
  • Experience managing and improving supply chain data, information, and processes
  • Dependable and accountable, work closely with peers on solving discrepancies
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
