SUPPLY CHAIN DELIVERY MANAGERS (2)
As the Supply Chain Delivery Manager, you will be accountable for managing an assigned supply chain portfolio and for providing support and expertise to the implementation of the supply chain strategy, executing best practices, and acting as the interface between Supply Ontario and its’ customers.
In this pivotal role, you will be a member of a ground floor initiative ensuring the best possible combination of money spent and value received for Ontarians. Your expertise coupled with your entrepreneurial spirit will be essential to ensure that customer relationship management activities including strategy development, individual relationship plan co-ordination and oversight run smoothly.
Other key responsibilities include:
- Working with the Category Management team to develop key performance indicators for vendor scorecard and to track vendor performance.
- Providing expertise to the development and implementation of supply chain management standards, methods, tools, and processes and leveraging data analytics to identify patterns and trends to help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Managing the development of customer communication products regarding all elements of the assigned portfolio including but not limited to changes within specific categories and working with customers to integrate negotiated price lists into their Procure to Pay (P2P) systems and processes.
- Providing input into the development and implementation of supply chain management strategic plans based on expertise and experience within the portfolio, including contract management, compliance, and issues management.
- Monitoring the portfolio to ensure all customers and vendors comply with Supply Ontario’s procurement processes, requirements, best practices, ethics, and relevant legislation.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the following:
- Customer service focused with a commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency, and professionalism.
- Proven conflict management, problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to analyze statistics and other data to spot trends and patterns.
- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) Designation is an asset.
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related degree.
- Advanced time management skills to meet critical timelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the procurement lifecycle and strategic procurement principles, practices, approaches, and techniques with an understanding of contracts, agreements and terms and conditions.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, relationship building skills as well as understanding the importance of political acuity.
- Demonstrated experience with 6-8 years working in supply chain management including planning, customer service, compliance, and vendor performance management.
