Supply Chain Financial Analyst

Avnan is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supply Chain Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team.

As a Supply Chain Financial Analyst, you will play a vital role in driving customer satisfaction, optimizing costs, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data in our supply chain operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage your expertise to enhance forecasting, inventory management, and overall supply chain performance.

Responsibilities:

Customer-Focused Management:

• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Customers, and Engineering to improve profitability and data accuracy for quoting.
• Manage customer-level costing and pricing to maintain target gross profit.
• Analyze forecasted flows, operational capacity, and stakeholder alignment to provide recommendations for new customers.
• Drive customer-focused cost reductions and improvements in customer satisfaction.

On-Time Delivery:

• Address issues proactively and minimize disruptions.
• Coordinate and communicate customer action plans with supply/factories and logistics teams.
• Take ownership of meeting on-time delivery and customer commit dates.

Forecast and Inventory:

• Identify problematic areas and suggest improvements based on data analysis.
• Develop inventory strategies for existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
• Interact with sales, customers, and finance to understand demand forecast drivers.
• Review component and finished goods inventory levels, adjusting them to match current demand.
• Review historical sales trends, analyze product data, and prepare accurate forecasts.
• Optimize shipping modes and schedules to achieve cost-effective solutions.

System and Data Accuracy:

• Create and maintain accuracy in finished goods purchase orders.
• Ensure accuracy in quote and cost management processes.
• Create and maintain accuracy in job-related activities, including verifying supplier invoices and inventory consumption.

Continuous Improvements:

• Plan and execute supply chain optimization projects to reduce costs, improve performance, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Continuously work towards improving KPIs and implementing best practices.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain performance.

About You:

Our ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

• Experience working in electronics manufacturing, EMS, ODM, or OEM is an asset.
• Proficiency in Supply Chain concepts, with APICS certification being a plus.
• Working knowledge of ERP system functionality is required, experience with Epicor is preferred.
• Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Material Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Forecasting, Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Control, or other Supply Chain roles.
• Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or equivalent methodologies.
• Finance background is an asset.
• Strong business acumen with experience in cost management.

Skills and Credentials:

The ideal candidate for the Supply Chain Financial Analyst role should also possess:

• Flexibility to travel occasionally and communicate with overseas suppliers outside regular working hours.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with the ability to leverage advanced functions and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex data and drive actionable insights.
• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Project management skills to plan and execute supply chain optimization initiatives.
