Job Description

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can analyze and optimize steel structures in residential builds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform construction-related services including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional specialized structural inspections
  • Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis, and construction cost estimates
  • Preference will be given to engineers with a license to practice in Ontario or British Columbia.
  • Collaborate with architects and designers and building contractors on the design and construction of projects


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
