Core Accountabilities
The Store Manager will oversee all aspects of the store, including customer service, inventory management, team member supervision, and financial performance. The Store Manager should demonstrate the following accountabilities:
- Executes and implements pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize sales and profits.
- Demonstrates strong leadership skills and drives team member engagement and retention.
- Strong commitment to quality assurance, food safety, and overall team member health and safety.
- Analyzes and identifies cost saving opportunities including waste and shrink.
- Oversees the store leadership team to ensure appropriate team member learning and development and enforces compliance requirements.
- Responsible for business financial goals and targets.
- The ability to successfully fulfill strategic objectives, including executing and enhancing merchandising and operational plans and standards.
- Oversees inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and monitoring inventory levels to prevent out-of-stock situations.
- The ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence and actively listens to others.
- Monitors sales performance and analyzes sales data to identify trends and adjust inventory levels and ordering accordingly.
Required Education and Experience
- Demonstrated commitment to an exceptional customer experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in an equivalent position, preferably in a grocery retail environment.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, and high-volume environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to innovate, influence, and problem solve.
- Committed to working a flexible schedule.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information to a larger team.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now and NetSuite is considered an asset.
