Key Responsibilities

• Sit as a key member on CCBs (Change or Configuration Control Board) / TRBs (Ticket Review Board) and recommend Disposition(s)
• Exposure to Satellite based systems is an added advantage
• Integration and Test; requires some level of competency using servers and all associated software components
• Customer interaction: moderate level of customer interaction / meetings / explanations of code changes and system impact, etc.
• System-level Verification and Validation
• SW configuration management, including internal repositories and SAP, among other requirements
• Provide a necessary “gate” to ensure quality software releases and / or product updates and patches. Work with the Support team, Engineering and Project Management to balance internal targets, customer expectations and quality requirements.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
You Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Ability to travel 50% nationally and internationally
• Over 7 years of experience in system integration, validation and Test

We Value

• Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
• Software coding and / or architecture background (C++, Java highly valued)
• Understanding of various software development lifecycle approaches and standards
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done
• Some relevant experience, including but not limited to SAP configuration control, TEAMCenter, SW repositories and configuration control in general
• Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts
• Effective communicator
• Knowledge of recent Agile / Scrum project and SW development methodology
• Diverse and global teaming and collaboration
• Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness
