Responsibilities
The code reviewer needs to ensure the quality of the source code and its adherence to our code
standards. The role includes organizing and conducting source code reviews as well as providing review
feedback on the areas that need rework. Code review is integral to the program and includes:

• Understand and experience applying design patterns and architectural principles and ability to

disseminate a best-practices model. A passion for “doing software right”.

• Collaborate with internal and external teams in application and system level technical design.
• Provide technical guidance and feedback to team-members. Willingness to share your

knowledge and enforce standards.

• Testing feature usability before promotion to the test team.
• Knowledgeable of the software development lifecycle including coding standards, code reviews,

source control, testing, and operations.

• Following and enforcing coding best practices
• Understand code DevOps pipelines using tools such as AWS Cloud Formation and Terraform.

Qualifications

• 5 years of development experience, with peer code review experience
• Experience with end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with an emphasis on
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading code reviews.
• Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Working experience in AWS with development of Lambda and DynamoDB services.
• Use of automated unit and integration code testing tools.
