About The Team
Dialpad’s Product Engineering organization is responsible for building and maintaining the customer-facing features at scale across all of our cloud native products and services. Every day, millions of users across the world leverage our technology for communicating effectively and efficiently.

Your role
As a Frontend Software Engineer, you’ll solve complex business problems in a fast-paced startup with lots of autonomy. We are in need of leaders who are passionate about the efficiency, security, and stability of services that are critical to the day-to-day operations of millions of users. We need pioneers who drive better ways to work together and set up Dialpad for our next 10 years of growth
This position reports to our Senior Engineering Manager and has the opportunity to be based in our Vancouver, Canada Office.
What You’ll Do

• Research new client-side technologies and paradigms, deciding which things get built into prototypes for further consideration
• Partner with some of our most senior and experienced backend engineers as you work together to bring the team’s visions to light.
• Make web applications, client side tools and packages, NodeJS based microservices
• You will also partner with our client infrastructure division to utilize and improve existing tools.
• Ownership over all frontend work related to supporting and exposing new experimental features and technologies

Skills You’ll Bring

• Experience in driving your own requirements and pushing forward engineering-driving initiatives
• 3-5 years of frontend-focused experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Expertise in iterative development, evaluation of new technologies and application of novel ideas into working prototypes
