OFPS has recently developed an in-house application, namely, Forensic Pathology (F-Path), which replaced the existing F-Path application that had reached its end-of-life. Based on user feedback, OFPS is in the process of initiating Phase 2 to work on enhancements (application functionality and reports). Additionally, during Phase 2, the user base will be further expanded to add additional external and internal stakeholders.

SCOPE

• Maintain the existing application and resolve bugs in a timely manner.
• Work with project team in developing and validating enhancements as per business requirements.
• Work would include documentation, development, database design and testing.

DELIVERABLES

Work with the project team in developing the enhancements and reports including quality code, code documentation, test cases, and database changes (as required).

Requirements MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• 10+ years of experience with extensive knowledge of programming and developing in .NET Core
• Extensive .NET development skills including VB.Net and C#, SQL database design and skills
• Experience working in a team environment with TFS/DevOps experience.

CRITERIA:

Criteria 1 - .NET Experience

10+ years of experience with programming and developing in .NET Core.

Experience with coding and implementing applications using, C#, .Net, VB.NET, ASP. Net, MVC, Identity C #, JavaScript, jQuery and XML/XLST

Experience with Windows Server, Microsoft SQL environment

Criteria 2 - .NET Applications

Experience building applications using MS .NET elements such as Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Presentation Framework, MS Sync Framework, Web Client Software Factory, MS Web Services and Entity Framework

Experience with Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Dev Ops, DevExpress, Cloud development and Enterprise Library

Criteria 3 - Web Services and Web API

Experience in Service oriented architecture, object-oriented design, user interface development.

Design, develop and consume Web Services and Web API

Working with Use Cases, Class diagrams, component diagrams, state diagram etc.

Experience with Data Migration.

Strong communication skills and team player.

Criteria 4 - SQL Experience

Experience coding and implementing SQL procedures, scripts, T-SQL and Object definitions for SQL Server

Experience with Oracle RDMS and Web Servers

Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies

Experience in the use of information retrieval packages using SQL (Stored procedures, triggers, functions)

Experience with one or more communications protocols

Experience with middleware and gateways

Desirable experience in application development in forensic sciences or related areas.
