Job Description

New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an Intermediate Software Developer to help our client develop and integrate one or more parts of their application systems. This will include designing the solution to fit into the architecture, prototyping the user interface, implementing, unit-testing, and integrating the components that are part of the solution.


Responsibilities:


  • Fully participate in activities that support the team’s delivery and continuous improvement through assisting other roles with their work, mentoring and promoting a respectful and collaborative culture
  • Work on medium complexity projects with occasional stretch targets of complex work


Requirements:


  • Exposure to Microservices and with the Power Platform is preferred
  • Experience in Microsoft Stack with technologies and frameworks like: C#, .NET, SQL, Angular 6 and up, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, ASP.NET, Web API, MVC, XUnit, NUnit, Entity Framework, TDD, Regis Cache, Git, and Azure
  • Experience participating in all activities that support Team delivery
  • 3+ years of experience in IT
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) training and certification like SAFe Practitioner is preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Software Development
  • Experience leading the development cycle (design, develop, integrate, test, prototype)
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies, cloud and a DevOps environment, IT involving development, unit testing, production support and problem resolution
  • Ability to work with medium complexity and integrated environments
  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment
