Shop Hand/Wash Bay Attendant

Bobcat & Doosan of the Peace (a division of Rentco Equipment Ltd). is a fast-paced local company that has been servicing Grande Prairie and the Peace Country for 60 years. We are a full line Bobcat dealership as well as the dealership for Doosan Heavy equipment.

We are currently hiring a full-time mechanically inclined Shop Hand/Wash Bay Attendant.

As the Shop Hand/Wash Bay Attendant, you are responsible for:

• Assisting customers load and unload their parts and/or equipment when required
• Notifying Supervisor of any equipment defects immediately
• Unloading freight trucks and assisting with putting parts items away
• Performing Arrival Conditions Reports
• Completing minor installs on equipment such as strobe lights, block heaters
• Assisting with the loading, unloading, testing and servicing of a vast equipment line that includes bobcats and attachments.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the yard, shop, and equipment
• This includes washing equipment in the wash bay
• Preforming touch-up painting on equipment

You have the following skills and experience:

• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work while wearing PPE required including steel-toed boots and safety glasses
• General knowledge of construction and oilfield equipment
• Hardworking team player
• Ability to work with your hands and lift heavy objects
• Mechanically inclined, with the desire to grow into a HET apprentice
