First Truck is looking for the TOP SHOP FOREMAN in the industry who are ready to build a long-term career working on all OEM Heavy Duty Trucks, Trailers and Motorhomes. Primary Job Functions

• Perform quality assurance activities, including:
• Training Technicians in quality assurance
• Supervise the maintenance/use of tools and shop equipment with an emphasis on safety
• Assign Technicians to jobs based on skill levels and training certifications
• Checks of job progress and quality
• Quality assurance inspections
• Road tests
• Assist in repair order process
• Directly supervise technicians in the performance of all their duties

Qualifications

• Heavy Truck and Trailer subject matter expert
• Strong aptitude for diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance
• Ability to work in a physical capacity, including heavy lifting and using tools throughout the shift
• Self-starter able to work in a fast-paced, detailed, and process-driven environment
• Class 1, Class 3, and MVI Certifications are a bonus
• Class 5 driver's license
• Commercial Transport (Truck and Transport Mechanic) Journeyman Certificate (or Red Seal)
• Must have own tools (required tool list will be provided)
