Border Cafe in Burlington, MA is looking for a qualified Server to join our growing team to meet the demands of our fast past, fully operational, full service restaurant. Border Cafe is a staple of the restaurant scene and has been recognized for multiple awards and recognition for quality in food and service. We are continuing to grow daily, weekly, and monthly after getting the doors open to our loyal customers. Job Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

• Make suggestions based on their preferences
• Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
• Arrange table settings
• Provide excellent customer services
• Communicate with all serving and kitchen staff
• Greet customers and present menus
• Deliver checks and collect payments
• Take and serve food/drinks orders
• Keep tables clean and tidy at all times

Qualifications for the ideal candidate would include the following traits but not limited:

• Excellent physical condition
• Customer-centric
• Experience with any ordering information system
• Good time-management skills
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience as a Restaurant Server
• Team player
• Active listening
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour
