Senior Web Developer Jobs

AFG is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web and mobile applications for the company. Using PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Laravel, and other technologies, you will be required to integrate front-end components with server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve the performance of existing software.
• Test and deploy applications and systems, optimizing for speed and scalability.
• Manage hosting environments, including database administration and scaling applications to support load changes.
• Write clean, scalable code following best practices (SOLID principles, etc.).
• Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals, and accessing new applications.
• Design, develop, and implement high-quality web applications using PHP, Laravel, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
• Identify and fix software bugs.
• Collaborate with the development team and stakeholders to ensure software projects meet requirements.
• Regularly contribute to and review code, leveraging version control systems like Git.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
• At least 6 years of experience as a Web Developer, with a strong focus on PHP and Laravel.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) is a plus.
• Good attention to detail.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (such as Laravel, Yii, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficient in front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Vue.js or React.js.
