The Opportunity:

Our Distribution Center works as a unified team and network to distribute merchandise and supplies across all Reitmans (Canada) Limited’s diverse channels - Contributing to our growth, profitability and best-in-class customer and employee experience.

As part of the Distribution Center’s leadership team, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our modern, multi-channel facility located in Ville-St Laurent. Reporting to the Distribution Center Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the center runs safely, efficiently, and accurately, with a specific focus on 3 shifts.

Responsibilities

Work hours: 6:00 – 2:00

• Oversee the evening and night shift Supervisors, whose teams can vary up to 40 stock processors per team during peak periods;
• Manage and facilitate the distribution operations for 3 shifts (day, evening, and night shift) ;
• Promote inventory accuracy and maximize operational efficiency through utilization of our distribution space;
• Uphold industry leading standards to protect the health and safety of our people.
• Lead performance and operational excellence of the 3 shifts and ensure coordination of all efforts using KPIs and reporting tools;

Qualifications

Who you are:

• Experience in a KPI-driven environment, tracking and improving team and operational performances.
• Minimum 3 years in a leadership role within a high-performance distribution center;
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a high volume, automated distribution center;
• College degree in related field of study;
