About This Team
We're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who's excited to work closely with a growing, nimble engineering team to impact the technical direction of the company. Your contribution makes it possible for us to revolutionize at-home fitness. At lululemon Studio, you will:

• Create and enforce well-defined SLOs across all services.
• Build and maintain resilient systems with rigorous testing procedures.
• Work closely with developers to improve service release processes.
• Develop automation among our services and infrastructure.
• Measure and monitor key aspects of production systems including performance, health, and durability.

You don't need to be a fitness buff, but you should be fired up about building technology that's going to change how people sweat!
a day in the life
Work closely with frontend and backend software engineers to design, build, and monitor infrastructure for our various cloud services. Improve upon reliability and scalability across the stack with a focus on automation and infrastructure as code. When on-call, handle and delegate triage issues, monitor system health, and deploy services during our scheduled release cycle.
Qualifications

• Knowledge of the following technologies would be an asset: Document-oriented and in-memory data stores (Elasticsearch, Redis, Memcached, etc.)., Architectural design patterns (Pub/Sub, MVC, Message broker, etc.),
• Knowledge of the following or adjacent technologies:Distributed relational databases (Aurora PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, etc.), Container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS Fargate, etc.), Build automation tools (Make, Gradle, Jenkins, etc.).
• Experience building end-to-end system monitoring tools.
• Experience conducting post-incident reviews and optimizing the incident lifecycle.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, and system automation.
• Extensive experience working with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
• Extensive experience in Linux/Unix systems.
• 2+ years of programming experience in a production environment.
• 3+ years of production-level system design and ownership.
