An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Revit Designer for our Hamilton office. Join a dynamic, growing team of professional engineers and designers with innovative projects coupled with the opportunity to develop your career.

As a Senior Revit Designer, you are required to have the following skills:

• Working knowledge of Revit Structural Software
• Inform leads on progress and estimate time to complete work
• Industrial design experience
• Perform site work
• Work with engineers and designers in single discipline or multi-discipline environment
• Understanding of construction practices
• Revit modeling for building foundations and complex equipment foundations
• Determine overall approach to modeling and drawing creation for large projects
• Knowledge of structural steel and concrete design and detailing practices
• General understanding of industrial project requirements including layout/function, equipment vendor, other disciplines, client expectations
• Creation of construction drawing packages for above noted concrete and steel structures
• Revit modeling for structural steel — industrial building, equipment/services supports and access structures
• Work independently on small projects
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products — Outlook, Word, and Excel

• Architectural design/layout as it pertains to industrial buildings and offices
• MicroStation
• AutoCAD
• Site plans and layout
• Advance Steel
• Brownfield sites — ability to execute projects in existing facilities
• Use of point clouds
• Experience checking drawings
• Other 3D modeling software experience
• Steel industry experience
• Grading and drainage

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• College level diploma preferred, or related work experience
• 10+ years relevant working experience
• High school diploma required
