Senior Product Manager- Platform

ABOUT THE PRODUCT:

Core SaaS Platform is a strategic investment/key enabler for Wiser’s next wave of growth, to accelerate innovation and deliver immediate time to value (TTV) for customer expansion at a global scale. We are in the initial stages/ground floor of building this platform, and our mission is to build a set of foundational building blocks that serves as the foundation for a comprehensive SaaS Suite. Our platform will deliver frictionless user experiences and create lifetime value for the customer across 3 products families and 13 market facing products, through reusable API-first plug-and-play software components to successfully enable the customer’s acquisition, activation, retention, and growth journeys.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

To help us with this key initiative, we are looking for a rockstar PM, who is comfortable in dealing with ambiguity, and can bring in a startup mindset to solving problems in a creative fashion. The right person will lead several areas of the platform effort including owning a significant portion of the data governance model/strategy and shipping components/UX modules that can scale to fit our global customer needs. This person will serve as an individual contributor reporting to the Platform Product Head and will have unfettered access to stakeholders across all aspects of the business functions including sales, customer success, product & technology, operations to shape up the expected outcomes.

• Partner with the stakeholders across the organization to identify newer opportunities, build strategy and present to leadership for buy-in.
• Evangelize platform adoption and advocate best practices of platform & data governance, and architecture for API and UX components.
• Define product vision and strategy for your assigned portfolio and lead your engineering/UX teams through successful product delivery.

WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO: 

• Demonstrate customer empathy and advocate a deep understanding of the customer jobs to be done in everyday conversations.
• Drive feature usage/adoption and manage product health through KPIs, deep dive analysis, feature audits, and design sprints.
• Effectively partner with cross-functional stakeholders to convert complex problems into high quality product specifications and design documents backed by data & insights.
• Demonstrate strong product sense in driving functional and business impact with reusable API components and user experience driving up product engagement and reducing friction.

WHAT YOU HAVE: 

• Strong technical background, willingness to collaborate closely with engineers, and ability to translate technology vision to business opportunities.
• 4-6 years of Product Management experience with a history of delivering successful B2B or B2C SaaS products with your fingerprints all over them. 
• History of using qualitative and quantitative data to inform and drive product decisions. 
• Demonstrated history of leadership with ability to lead and influence teams. 

• Bachelor’s degree. 
• Clear, concise, but thorough verbal and written communication skills to absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience. 
• Grit – you are never afraid to roll up your sleeves and do what needs to be done to make your product successful. 
• Self-drive and confidence, but humility to ask for help, to seek feedback or to own mistakes and take corrective action. 
• Experience leading product processes from successful product discovery, user story mapping, solution prototyping, and conducting user validation sessions. 

OTHER PLUSES: 

• Experience in CPG, Retail and in-store analytics, retail, and brands. 
• Experience working with global customers. 
• Experience with Enterprise B2B SaaS data products.
