Our NOVONIX Battery Technology Solutions division, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, focuses on innovative battery research and development, along with providing advanced battery testing equipment and services on a global scale. In Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA, our Anode Materials division manufactures our synthetic graphite anode materials used to make lithium-ion batteries which power electric vehicles, personal electronics, medical devices, energy storage units, and more.

Role Summary:

This person will report directly to the Senior Manager of Data Solutions and will lead the creation, documentation and evaluation of all product requirements and documentation for our home-grown visualization tool. You will also represent the voice of the customer and lead all activities related to customer service and technical support. In the role of Product Manager, you will be joining a world-class Data Solutions team that is delivering innovative solutions to tough problems.

Responsibilities include:

• Participating in daily scrum and weekly retro meetings
• Promoting our data tools at tradeshows, seminars and site visits
• Working collaboratively as a part of an Agile team
• Being the primary contact for all customers internally and externally
• Leading requirements gathering activities both internal and external
• Reviewing system capabilities and evaluate for efficiencies and improvements
• Working with the Senior Manager of Data Solutions to create and execute a product roadmap
• Other duties as assigned
• Creating and maintaining product documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and marketing materials.

You are:

• A critical thinker able to manage complex information
• Familiar with Atlassian suite tools for issue tracking (Jira and Confluence)
• Relentless in pursuit of customer satisfaction
• Comfortable with ambiguity and changing environments
• Resourceful when it comes to solving problems
• Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative
• Collaborative
• Intellectually curious
• 3+ years of product management experience as related to maintaining and launching software products
• A graduate with a Computer Science or Engineering Degree, or other related diploma and/or equivalent experience

Extra awesome if you also have:

• UI/UX experience
• Experience working with AWS or other cloud environments
• Familiarity with; Python, R, Pyspark, Scala, or other
