Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Our global Search & Analytics team is looking for an experienced Senior Machine Learning Engineer. This position can be based near any of our US offices or Toronto.
About You...

• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience (including internships).
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Technology, or Engineering preferred.
• Proven track record in the application of ML/NLP/Search Engine/Big Data.

What You Will Be Doing In This Role....

• Identifies strategic information needs of internal clients and translates these into data requirements to build high performance data stores.
• Works in collaboration with Data Scientists to constantly optimize the performance of the ML models.
• Track, verify, evolving data sources, data flows, tools & storage mechanisms
• Design and implementation of ML model deployment infrastructure.
• Explores existing data for insights and recommends additional sources of data for improvements.

Technical & Professional Skills:

• Big Data on cloud computing platforms with technologies such as Hadoop, Hive and Spark.
• Experience with Data Science and supporting data scientists to get their models successfully deployed to production.
• Extensive knowledge of deployment tools such as AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Docker, Flask, MLFlow, and Airflow.
• Excellent Python programming skills.
• Machine learning knowledge: solid hands-on experience with: (1) multiple typical ML tasks such as classification/regression/clustering, (2) data gathering/data preprocessing/feature engineering, (3) model selection/testing/(re)training/monitoring.
