Job Description
Role And Responsibilities


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements for warehouse operations.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and materials.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse activities, and train staff on proper procedures and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement supply chain technology solutions specific to the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Identify and implement new technology solutions to improve warehouse operations and increase efficiency.
  • Design and implement metrics to track warehouse performance, such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and maintain budget for logistics projects and operations for CAE's aerospace and defense operations.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize warehousing operations for CAE's aerospace and defense operations, including warehouse design, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify opportunities for optimization and cost reduction and make recommendations to management based on findings.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to improve overall supply chain performance and reduce costs for CAE's aerospace and defense operations.


Requirements:


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets specific to the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing budgets for logistics projects and operations in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful logistics strategies for warehouse operations in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Proficiency in supply chain technology solutions such as Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS), with experience in solutions specific to the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functional teams.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • More than 5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations, with a focus on the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements for warehouse operations specific to the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
