Job Position : Senior Cloud Engineer

The Role:

A Cloud Engineer with Megazone Cloud is someone with deep expertise in building and

managing a variety of cloud solutions and is passionate about working with clients, partners,

and a global team to drive the business forward. In this role, you will be responsible for

managing current client cloud infrastructure while making key observations to improve, cost-

optimize, and well-architect the environments. You’ll collaborate with a diverse and

experienced team of Solutions Architects, Cloud DBAs, and Cloud Engineers to bring innovate

ideas to the MegazoneCloud client base.

Job Responsibilities

• Developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFront.
• Advanced provisioning and system administration of RHEL and Windows Server/Active Directory.
• Participate in 24x7 on call rotations for critical issue monitoring.
• Contribute and communicate effectively in client meetings and discussions regarding tickets, improvements, deliverables.
• Developing custom automation through Bash, PowerShell, and Python.
• Build efficiencies and tools to reduce the occurrences of errors and improve client experience.
• Troubleshooting, network, systems, and deployments through P1-P4 ticket handling.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in IT and technical roles.
• Advanced understanding of complex monitoring solutions and APMs such as New Relic
• Good understanding of building/modifying CI/CD pipelines.
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced start-up environment and the ability to be cross-functional.
• Good understanding of DevOps methodology and solutions.
• Advanced understanding of AWS Cloud Infrastructure (Azure and GCP a plus) and implementing IaC.
• Good understanding of Agile methodology for project delivery.
• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering / Cloud Solutions / Cloud Architecture.
• Good understanding of containerization, Kubernetes, or other container management platforms.
• Good level of understanding in Bash / Python / PowerShell.
• Advanced understanding of Networking and Security Principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good to have Azure/GCP Certifications.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical knowledge to business language.
• Strong preference to AWS Certified Associate or Professional.
• Strong understanding of Jira and ServiceNow.
• Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple streams of work.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, and or equivalent industry experience.
