What You’ll Do

The Senior Account is responsible for reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining the general ledger, and preparing month-end statements and reports.

As our Senior Accountant you will:

• Coordinate with the Director of Finance to establish goals for accounts receivable and accounts payable team, and lead year-end auditing.
• Ready and maintain financial and business transactions in accordance with established accounting principles.
• Analyze financial information on assets, liabilities, and capital to prepare the balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize the company’s current and projected financial position.
• Calculate budget variances to ascertain financial performance and report significant issues to the Director of Finance.
• Support the Director of Finance with budget planning, management, and control.
• Plan, direct, and evaluate the daily operations and workflow of the accounts receivable and accounts payable team.
• Analyze and provide analysis on the effects of transactions on account relationships.

Requirements

About You

You are a certified accountant who:

• Has advanced Excel skills and familiarity with QuickBooks.
• Has excellent attention to detail.
• Has your CPA designation.
• Can apply established accounting principles in practice consistently and effectively.
• Understands GAAP.
• Is highly analytical and detail oriented.
• Has proven experience providing guidance and direction to direct reports.
• Has 5-7 years of professional accounting experience.
• Has successfully completed a bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting, business, finance, or a related field.
