Job Description

Our client, a thriving and growing manufacturing company located in Mississauga, is looking to add a Senior Accountant to their team! This position is 100% onsite.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Process payroll for 90-100 employees, including salaried and hourly employees.
  • Other related accounting and administrative duties upon request.
  • Matching Purchase Orders to invoices from Vendors (qty/pricing and receiving)
  • Processing payments to suppliers in a timely manner.
  • Regularly conduct collection calls and emails to ensure outstanding payments are received.
  • Comply with federal and provincial legal requirements by compiling and filing WSIB, HST, EHT, ROE’s,PST, source deductions and T4s.
  • Oversee full cycle accounting duties, including Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger
  • Month-end and year-end closing activities including bank reconciliations.


Job Requirements:
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Experience working with MS Excel and a variety of accounting software
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in senioraccounting roles
  • Ability and willingness to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with other departments/teams
  • Knowledge and experience working with QuickBooks Online
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
