Job description

We are looking for a talented Software Development Engineer with outstanding problem-solving skills to join our machine learning infrastructure team. You will be working with a small group of ambitious engineers and applied scientists who are building the future of robotic perception using some of the most exciting and challenging state of the art technologies in computer vision and machine learning. Your job will include:

• Designing and implementing data generation, augmentation, and analysis tools
• Evaluating system performance on different hardware setups
• Contributing to the general software development activities
• Designing and taking ownership of the release process of the trained assets
• Designing and implementing automation of the end-to-end neural network training pipelines
• Developing cloud solutions for data generation and training pipelines with AWS
• Implementing accuracy and performance benchmarks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PHD degree (or equivalent experience) with focus on computer engineering
• Strong programming skills (data structure, algorithms, OO)
• 3+ years of experience in software development (or equivalent academic experience)
• Excellent understanding of HPC infrastructure

Desired qualifications

• CUDA programming experience
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Python programming experience
• 3D modeling software experience
• Experience with Continuous Integration Tools
• Deep-learning experience using PyTorch
