Your Next Challenge

• Please note that this position could be for a contractor*

You Will Be Responsible For

Reporting to different departments such as Exploration, Permitting or Construction (depending of the needs), you will support the team by ensuring safety when work is performing on the field.

• Other duties assigned by supervisor.
• Keep work space and general areas clean and hazard free;
• Provide safety assessments regarding bear and wildlife for workers on the field;
• Report any wildlife in the work area;

What You Need To Succeed

• Possess a valid Firearms Acquisition Certificate (FAC);
• Proficient handling Fire Arms;
• Ability to work under physically demanding conditions;
• Position reserved for Inuit Beneficiary candidates. Note that the official working language at Meliadine and Meadowbank is English.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English;
• Experience as Bear of Wildlife Monitor;

Your Work Schedule

• Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site from Kivalliq Communities, Mirabel & Val d'Or.
• Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest;
