As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic team and help us drive growth and success through the effective utilization of Salesforce. You will be responsible for developing and designing front-end web architectures, maintaining sophisticated Salesforce applications to meet Nuovo’s distinct needs, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Customize Salesforce configurations, workflows, process automation, and data integrations to streamline business processes;
• Participate in all areas of the project life cycle, including Discovery, estimation, Sprint Planning, delivery, and post release support;
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring the adherence to development best practices and security guidelines;
• Carry out unit testing and debugging of Salesforce applications ensuring their quality and reliability;
• Integrate Salesforce with other systems and platforms utilized by Nuovo, using APIs and web services;
• Document technical designs, solutions, and implementation specifics;
• Stay up-to-date with Salesforce platform updates, new features, and industry best practices, and leverage them to drive continuous improvement.
• Implement and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components;
• Design and develop custom Salesforce solutions that meet our specific business requirements;

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions, including declarative customization and programmatic development;
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development including customization, configuration, and integration;
• Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and technologies (SOAP, REST, Bulk API, etc.);
• Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization;
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience);
• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce platform features, data model, security model, and governor limits;
• Familiarity with source control systems, continuous integration, and deployment tools;
• Salesforce certifications, such as Platform Developer I and II, are highly desirable.

Please note that this is an in-person position - candidates must be able to reliably commute to Nuovo's HQ in Montreal, QC for this position.
