Who we need:
We are looking for a Resource Analyst to forecast, plan and allocate staffing based on shifting resource needs. You will collaborate with Business Unit partners to understand current and upcoming projects and generate short-term and long-term capacity and demand reports. You will be critical in optimizing our efficiency, cost-savings, and production speed as you balance engineering resources across concurrent projects.

You will:
- Communicate. You will collaborate with Business Unit partners to stay up-to-date on flex resource requirements. You will work with outsource services to understand current and future capacity. You will participate in team huddles, daily stand ups, and other Business Unit or Chapter meetings.
- Forecast. You will review current and projected resource demand patterns to create and update short-term and long-term capacity and demand forecast reports.
- Maintain tools and reports. You will design or optimize resource planning tools. You will maintain and update all related reports, databases, metrics, and intranet sites.
- Schedule staff. You will use resource management tools to plan and allocate Design and Engineering Chapter staff to new and ongoing projects. You will balance the demands of competing projects and limited resources to ensure the more efficient and productive allocation of engineering resources to complete projects on time and on budget.
- Prioritize quality and safety. You will follow all policies and procedures defined in the company quality system. You will participate, support and sustain 5S and continuous improvement initiatives. You will adhere to the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations, the health, safety & environmental policies, procedures, and policies of Array Canada.
You have:
- The experience. You have worked in a resource planning or staff scheduling role in a production or manufacturing environment. You have strong organizational, data collection and investigative skills. You are proactive, with exceptional forecasting and planning abilities, good judgment and the ability to apply logic and reasoning to identify alternate solutions.
- The interpersonal skills. You have professional and flexible communication skills. You can build trust, collaborative relationships, influence without authority, and confidently work with business unit and chapter leaders. You embrace continuous change and exhibit adaptability to work within realistic deadlines.
- The technical skills. You can learn new tools quickly and are proficient with scheduling software, database management, and MS Office Suite. You can interpret and apply information from Waterfall and Gantt charts. You can read and interpret documents such as design briefs, safety rules, and procedure manuals. You can write routine reports and correspondence.
