The analyst will maintain a host of reports within the Power Operations - Remote Operations Center to contribute to the safe and reliable operation of wind and solar power plants.
In this role, you will be analyzing complex data sets to generate insightful reports using Excel, Power BI, SQL, etc. Your insights and data visualizations will contribute to the decision-making within our Control Center environment.

What You Will Do

• Prepare, analyze, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly turbine availability reports for the Power Operations business unit.
• Automate data retrieval, transformation, and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely delivery of information.
• Apply Excel, Power BI, Python, SharePoint, SQL, and machine learning models to develop comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations for operational and performance metrics in the Power Operations business unit.
• Optimally monitor and validate data quality, ensuring consistency and reliability of reporting outputs.
• Apply machine learning techniques to identify patterns, anomalies, and build predictive models for optimizing power generation operations.
• Build and maintain data models and databases to support reporting, analysis, and machine learning initiatives.

Who You Are

• Strong analytical skills with sophisticated data sets and derive practical insights.
• Experience working with SCADA systems, control systems, and real-time data sources.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Python, SharePoint, SQL, and machine learning techniques.
• Experience in data modelling, query optimization, and database management.
• Outstanding ability to analyze large volumes of data to provide insight.
• 1-2 years practical experience in the power generation industry preferred
• You possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics) or equivalent combination of education.

Strong preference for knowledge of NERC standards and Power generation Operations
