About The Role
As an R.E Teacher, you will have the opportunity to engage students in exploring diverse religious beliefs, values, and practices, fostering a respectful and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver interactive and thought-provoking R.E lessons, encouraging students to explore and respect various religious traditions.
  • Engage students in meaningful discussions about moral and ethical issues, empowering them to think critically and empathetically.
  • Foster an environment that promotes tolerance, understanding, and appreciation of cultural and religious diversity.
  • Collaborate with the R.E department to enhance the curriculum and incorporate innovative teaching methodologies.
  • Guide students in developing their own beliefs and values while respecting the beliefs of others.

Requirements:
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection, ensuring a safe and nurturing school environment.
  • Successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks, including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant qualifications in Religious Education or a related subject.
  • Proven experience in teaching R.E at secondary level, showcasing your passion for the subject and commitment to students' growth.
  • Enthusiasm for exploring diverse religious beliefs and fostering mutual respect among students.
