This is for a full time permanent position, working 75 hours biweekly.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Facilities, Capital Planning & Records, this position is responsible for providing department-wide corporate support to Department of Justice staff including but not limited to: facilities logistics (space planning, renovations, repairs, heating/cooling issues, rodent control, maintenance and capital projects); asset/furniture management including reconfigurations, procurement and working with YG Asset Control to source or repurpose assets; facility access; security; phones; custodial; signage; and parking .

Essential Qualifications

Candidates should have and may be assessed on their:
We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude and a strong administrative support background. You must have excellent people skills and be able to work cooperatively with all of the Department of Justice staff as well as contractors, movers, and other YG staff. This position does not sit still for long and is often on the move going to our various locations to help problem solve to meet the needs of the Department’s diverse operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and be able to take direction daily to meet multiple requests, often with competing priorities. MS Office Suite skills will serve you well in this position.
Conditions Of Employment
The position is required to lift heavy boxes and some furniture up to 50 lbs as well as be exposed to dust and grime from office reorganization/renovations and or furniture/asset moves and may also be exposed to scents from renovations or new materials (paint, flooring adhesive, new furniture etc.).

- Coursework and/or training in finance, business/office administration, procurement or related field
- Experience with Archibus is considered an asset
- Experience with facilities operations and maintenance an asset
- Experience with finance and procurement systems and processes, preferably in a YG setting
