Railway Systems V&V Engineer

Duties

• Gather and analyze customers technical requirements.
• Plan the testing activities
• Prepare reports and certificates, review and validate the systems design
• Check compliance with standards and requirements
• Develop automation tools to automate the testing activities
• Write tests cases, procedures, scenarios
• Perform testing of different subsystems and systems (unit, software integration testing, non-regression testing, functional testing)
• Work on the integration, testing and validation of train control and signaling systems for major railway projects

Skills

• At ease with hardware, able to troubleshoot equipment
• Experience in systems integration.
• Experience in systems testing
• Knowledge of the full V cycle
• Knowledge of railway signaling (especially CBTC)
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
• You must hold a Bachelor and/or Master's degree in Science or Engineering field
• Experience in writing technical documentation
• Knowledge of safety standards (CENELEC 50126 50128 50129 would be a plus)
• Experience in using DOORS, or similar Requirements Management and Model Based Systems Engineering tools.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the railway industry
