Note: The 23FALL examinations will take place from DEC 7th - DEC 19th, 2023, 2023 and 23FW examinations will take place from APRIL 8th - APRIL 23rd, 2024 as scheduled by the Registrar in consultation with the Department.

In-Person Instruction: class that meets in a classroom and/or laboratory at the scheduled time/day, with the instructor and all students present (synchronous).

Course Description

• This course is designed to give students the opportunity to examine the role and purpose of ethics in business.
• This leads to a consideration of the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility and ethical practice in regular business operation.
• It will present methods of moral reasoning, case analysis and resolution of ethical dilemmas as well as scrutinize the relevance of ethical values such as human dignity, honesty, fairness and trust in business activity.

Qualifications & Requirements

• MA in Philosophy, or Ethics, and experience teaching courses in Corporates Social responsibility or Business Ethics.
