Our client is an innovator leading new product development and research in the Design and Manufacturing sector of Oil and Gas. They currently lead the way and partnering with Robert Half in their search for an experienced and solution-oriented Project Engineer with a specialization in manufacturing.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, this opportunity will be instrumental in the oversight of multiple initiative, developing your project engineering abilities at a rapid pace!
What the day to day looks like:
- Acting as a client liaison.
- Managing projects to meet client specifications, deadlines and budget.
- Collaborating on projects within a multi-disciplinary engineering and process development team.
- Coordinating the activities of engineering and design groups assigned to project team.
- Ensuring engineering is done with accuracy and to high standards.
How you will make an impact in this role:
- Support Quality Assurance, support the maintenance of equipment files including regular inspections and maintenance as per the applicable codes and standards.
- Identify and support initiatives for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Provide technical expertise and support to the R&D and production teams.
- Develop and maintain process documentation such as mechanical drawings, P&IDs and SOPs.
- Embrace, comply and promote current Plant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Policies related to engineering and production operations.
What your qualifications look like:
- Bachelors of Engineering (mechanical or chemical preferred) OR C.Tech/C.E.T designation
- Process safety, risk identification and hazard control
- 2+ years of experience ideally in manufacturing/fabrication environment
- Exposure to high pressure gases and fluids
- Understanding of ABSA regulations
- Some exposure to design and manufacturing work
- 3D MCAD and 2D drafting
