Project Engineer (Eit) Jobs

Insight Global is currently seeking a Project Engineer/EIT to join a leading aviation consulting client on a permanent basis in Calgary for designing of new runways, taxiways, aprons, airside service roads, airside commercial developments including associated site servicing, grading, earthworks and stormwater management. Expectations also include assisting in the development and preparation of figures, design drawings, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, quantity take-offs, technical reports, etc. The selected candidate should have experience within Civil, Municipal Engineering, Land Development or Related Experience and obtain a Licensed Professional Engineer or be an Engineer-in-Training. Experience with design in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is highly preferred within a civil/ municipal environment.

Must-haves

- Licensed Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training with a minimum three (3) years related work experience.

- Demonstrated experience in civil engineering, design or project engineering/management for the municipal/land development/transportation industry.

- Strong communication and report writing skills and ability to prioritize/manage multiple project timelines.

- Demonstrated AutoCAD Civil3D experience as well as the MS Office suite of programs (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

Plusses

- Topographic survey experience and an interest in airports/aviation are considered assets

- Registered with a provincial engineering association.
