Overview:

Our established client in the manufacturing sector is looking for an intermediate level Programmer Analyst to develop, improve and maintain software applications to support external business functions.

The successful candidate will perform user interviews, systems analysis, design, and project management.

What will you be doing:

• Write and maintain documentation to describe development
• Configure, integrate, and support internal and third-party applications
• Modify existing applications
• Update assigned tasks in Ticket Tracking System
• Gather, analyze, and document software requirements
• Test and debug programs
• Stay current on new technology developments
• Create user guide for authored applications
• SQL Server administration
• Program applications based on requirements
• Conduct in-depth interviews with end-users to gather requirements and understand their needs

What you must have:

• Proficiency in writing efficient queries, stored procedures, and database design.
• Extensive experience in developing applications using .NET technologies. Advanced knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and related frameworks.
• Excellent understanding of software development best practices: Strong grasp of software development principles, design patterns, and coding standards.
• 3 - 5 years of full-stack development experience, covering both front-end and back-end technologies along with some project leadership / management experience.
• Solid understanding of relational database concepts and hands-on experience with SQL Server.
• B.Sc. in Information Systems or equivalent
• Strong understanding of front-end web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript. Strong ability in building dynamic and responsive applications using Angular framework.

It would be an asset if you have:

• Knowledge of Salesforce platform and development experience in customizing and extending Salesforce applications.
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting. Ability to create interactive dashboards, reports, and data analytics using Power BI tools.
• Knowledge of construction or manufacturing industry.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and experience with relevant tools and practices. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and deployment automation.
• Experience in maintaining and enhancing ProIV applications is a plus.
