Position Overview:
The Products and Services Sales Manager is the senior customer-facing position for the sales and marketing team, and has overall profit and growth responsibility for parts, service, and equipment as well as customer satisfaction, and employee engagement; and provides leadership and support to the region. This role is key in leading, developing and supporting new equipment, used equipment and rental sales. The successful individual will also be critical in managing our relationship with Caterpillar.
:
  • Timely and appropriate communication of competitive information, product changes, and product health and safety issues.
  • Lead and support health and safety initiatives.
  • Develop customer relationship management strategies utilizing the technology of SalesLink.
  • Recruit, lead, coach, develop and mentor the sales team.
  • Represent the Company in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Meet revenue, expense and profitability targets.
  • Maintain close and open working relationships with branch and regional operational managers to support customer satisfaction.
  • Strategic management of all aspects of the effectiveness and efficiency of the sales team.
  • Strategic development of customer relationships.
  • Identify new opportunities.
  • Sound knowledge of products and services related to the assigned industry.
Education & Experience:
  • Strong presentation, leadership and influencing skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent business acumen.
  • A degree or diploma, Sales or Business.
  • A strong ability to motivate, manage and drive results in a team sales environment.
  • Experience managing a progressive strategic sales team.
  • Solid experience solving complex customer problems.
