As a production loader in Granton NS, you will be responsible for meeting daily production worker requirements while maintaining high levels of quality in a safe and effective manner.
The OCX Loader Operator role has a few responsibilities. You would be responsible for operating hoists to lift bobbins from the floor to the proper machines to build tires. This role is quite physically demanding and requires the selected candidate to walk from machine to machine throughout their shift. Time management is a key skill to have.
A successful candidate will possess effective time management skills while communicating with other team members to complete all tasks.

Responsibilities

• OCX loaders work in a time sensitive environment, often facing pressure to meet deadlines.
• OCX loaders are required to work independently.
• OCX loaders are responsible for loading the tire building machines - using hoists to lift the bobbins and keeping the 6 tire building groups stocked throughout the duration of your shift.

• You have strong time management skills
• You are comfortable working 12-hour rotational shifts (days and nights)
• You have good communication skills and the ability to work as a team member
• You are dependable and have a reliable source of transportation
• You thrive in an industrial environment
