A company of builders, thinkers, and owners, Thentia gives employees the opportunity to create amazing solutions, showcase their talents, and benefit from our shared success as we scale up in the U.S., Canadian, and global markets. Further, Thentia’s solutions directly impact public trust and regulatory integrity, helping regulators and agencies meet 21st century standards by leveraging predictive analytics, Big Data, AI, and other innovative capabilities. Internally, our culture fosters collaboration, inclusivity, intellectual curiosity, and professional development.

About The Role

As a Product Operations Intern, you will be supporting the Product Management team in maintaining the product-market fit and product development lifecycles affecting the business and operations in the specific region and/or market. You will assist in developing business insights, managing feedback and technical request(s) from various stakeholders and transforming the data into product requirements that will allow the Product Managers to utilize data analytics.

We value merits and performance highly - depending on how you perform over time, you may have the opportunity to lead a project on your own with some supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the internal launch calendar: Effectively prioritize requirements and datelines from internal teams to ensure effective launch readiness and clear communication with stakeholders on how a launch will impact their team and the clients.
  • Following Agile processes which support product requirements, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and ticket creation
  • Document and configure systems to support features deployment.
  • Regularly update stakeholders on plans, milestones, gaps, and solutions
  • Collaborate with multiple teams (product, development, marketing, sales, etc.) to support feature releases and to gain insight into critical indicators that provide insight into the operational status of the product portfolio
  • Ensure operational readiness is there for successful solution launching.

Qualifications:

  • A commitment of 8 months of internship (commencing Fall 2023)
  • A clear communicator of product decisions and their rationale.
  • Currently pursuing studies in product design/development, computer science/engineering or related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable with project management and leading complex coordination/task allocation.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous yet fast-paced environments and passionate about shaping products that scale and fit to the business needs.
  • Comfortable with troubleshooting system issues with various teams as they arise.
  • You are entrepreneurial and self-driven.
  • Excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.

We’re proud to be ‘Great Place to Work’ certified in the U.S. and Canada. Nearly 90% of our employees have participated and nearly 9 out of 10 employees overall agreed that Thentia is a ‘great place to work’.
