Role:Osteopathic Manual Practitioners
Location:Milton, ON
Role Overview:
The WOMB is looking for a Registered Osteopathic Manual Practitioner to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be warm, nurturing, and client focused with a strong passion for all things pregnancy and babies. They will have experience working with women during pregnancy and postpartum. Experience working with babies would be an asset.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual therapy techniques to restore balance to muscle, joints, nerves, connective tissues and internal organs.
- Find the clients cause of pathology or pain and treat all systems and their connections to help return their body to a state of health.
- Provide encouraging advice regarding lifestyle changes that can better help the clients overall health
- Communicate thoroughly with client, clients family and other healthcare practitioners
Qualifications:
- Member and in good standing with OOA
- Comfortable working with pregnant women, infants, children and their families
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management and problem solving skills
- Team player
