As a Service Advisor and front-line representative, you'll be responsible for communicating with customers, explaining vehicle diagnoses, and recommending necessary services to ensure the longevity of their vehicles, based on feedback from technicians. Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explaining provisions and exclusions
• Enhance the store's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
• Maintain customer rapport by explaining estimates and expected return of vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of estimates and answering questions and concerns
• Determine automotive problems and services by listening to customers' descriptions of symptoms and clarifying descriptions of problems
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labour
• Prepare repair orders (RO) by describing symptoms, problems, and causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required
• Maintain automotive records by recording problems and corrective actions planned
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driver's abstract
• Ability to work in a team-driven environment
• Strong interpersonal skills: a good listener who can cultivate relationships
• Previous experience in an Automotive or Powersports Service Advisor role is considered an asset
• Good organization and learning skills
• At least three years of customer service experience

Wage Range: $18.40- $21.60/Hour + Performance Bonus
